2025 and beyond:  Passivhaus Designer training.  The development of JCA with architect being a master builder – in other words, getting our hands dirty in the workshop and understanding how to construct.  Mocking up detail and working with true craftsmen on site to understand, in literal terms, the state of the art.

I’ve quite a few small loft conversions at the moment, but they’re all different and I’m quite enjoying them.  However, I am constantly reminded of the blunt instruments that are the Permitted Development rules for roof extensions and the fact that they do not encourage – in any way – creative or attractive solutions.

Quite enjoy the challenge of learning software from a book.  However, this is some heavy duty stuff.  No wonder (I’ve heard) it can take the average practice 7 years to get operational with BIM…
